This position will be responsible for building and maintaining corporate websites, intranet, and internal sales tools. You will be taking over an existing codebase and continuing feature development of several existing programs and apps as well as starting new projects.
Skills, Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions:
Current stack is PHP and Laravel 8 with Tailwind.
You will be the architect for many of your own designs and apps.
Keep security at the forefront of all application design decisions.
Successfully deployed solutions and seen them through the entire lifecycle.
Working on desktop experiences as well as mobile experiences.
Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Marketing team members to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction and experience.
Review and create user stories and user flows. Define user requirements, and product function requirements.
Build and maintain internal sales tools that access external APIs for data.
Present key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders.
Establish and promote development guidelines, best practices and standards.
Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and Software Engineers to ensure that functionality meets task and user goals.
Use Github, atomic deployment tools, and write your own code tests. TDD preferable.
3-5+ years of web or software development experience.
3-5+ years of programming experience in PHP.
Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrable skills with a strong portfolio.
Experience working in a pseudo-SCRUM environment with Git is preferred.
Solid understanding of software engineering principles.
A good eye for detail and ability to engage in multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to communicate and articulate decisions to multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in PHP, preferably with Laravel 8.
Debian/Ubuntu server deployment experience a plus.
