About the Position:
Hiring for a Sales Engineer, to focus on bridge clients, responsible for all sales and marketing activities for a large, multi-state, territory. This position must develop and manage relationships with customers, DOT owners, private owners and bridge designers. As well as create and submit bid proposals for plate girder fabrication opportunities and work closely with Estimating, Project Management, and Operations. This position will be tasked as a subject-matter-expert for steel bridge topics within their territory. This position offers the ability to work from home with up to 25% travel.
Prior bridge industry experience (DOT, General Contractor, Bridge Designer etc.
Excellent written, on-line, and face-to-face communication skills.
Must be detail-oriented, confident, self-motivated and take responsibility of meeting goals.
Must work well with others as they will at times be both a team leader and a team member.
Ability to analyze marketing data and identify trends.
Ability to read and interpret technical design drawings.
