About the Position:

An opportunity for an experienced Industrial Engineer to move into a senior level role within a fast growing company and to lead and direct the work of others. Overall responsibility to apply engineering principles to plan and design processes within the manufacturing facility. The IE conducts studies in operations to maximize workflow and spatial utilization and promotes workplace safety and facility efficiency. The IE supports the design, machining, assembly, crating, shipping and receiving, and quality control departments. Will evaluate flow, manning, set-up (cell design) and may oversee the work of more junior IE’s..

Requirements:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in a machining atmosphere and machining programming.
  • 5-10 years’ experience.
  • Continuous Improvement background a plus.
  • Six Sigma Certification preferred.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor/Solidworks and MS Office.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (TAKT time, KANBAN, PDCA, cell designs)
  • Experience with process mapping and value stream mapping.
