About the Position
The company is seeking a highly experienced MEP Senior Project Manager to lead all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Low-Voltage scopes on a large-scale commercial project.
This individual will oversee MEP delivery from preconstruction through commissioning, managing significant subcontractor scopes, coordinating with design and BIM/VDC teams, and ensuring systems are executed in alignment with contract requirements, schedule milestones, safety standards, and the company’s quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of MEP project delivery, from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover
- Manage $100M+ in MEP subcontractor scope on complex commercial projects
- Oversee procurement, contract administration, cost control, forecasting, and schedule integration
- Coordinate with design teams, BIM/VDC, commissioning agents, and field leadership
- Support field installation, testing, inspections, and system turnover
- Facilitate MEP coordination meetings, OAC meetings, and stakeholder communication
- Mentor and supervise project engineers and assistant project managers
- Ensure MEP systems meet performance, safety, and quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (experience considered in lieu of degree)
- 10+ years
of commercial construction experience with large-scale MEP leadership responsibilities
- Deep understanding of MEP systems, design coordination, sequencing, and commissioning
- Proven experience managing budgets, contracts, risk, and subcontractor performance
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling software, and BIM platforms
- Demonstrated ability to independently interpret and apply 3D BIM models to identify conflicts, drive coordination, and guide project teams
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
